All gold purchases made by MSR Jewellery are valued based on the prevailing market rates as published by the Madras Jewellers & Diamond Traders Association (MJDTA). The MJDTA rate serves as the benchmark for determining the value of gold in all transactions.

Purity Testing: The purity of all gold items is determined using an X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) spectrometry machine, which provides non-destructive and accurate analysis of gold content. The XRF reading shall be considered final and binding for the purpose of the transaction.

Weight Measurement: All gold items are weighed on BIS-certified (Bureau of Indian Standards) electronic weighing scales that are calibrated regularly. The weight recorded on our certified scale shall be considered final for the transaction. Customers are welcome to observe the weighing process.

Valuation Formula: The amount payable is calculated as: weight (in grams) multiplied by the applicable rate per gram for the tested purity, less any applicable deductions for non-gold components (stones, enamel, or other materials).

Gold rates displayed on this website (www.cashforgold.cc), including but not limited to the homepage, gold rate page, and landing pages, are indicative only and are subject to change based on live market conditions without prior notice.

The actual rate applicable to your transaction will be the prevailing MJDTA rate at the exact time of transaction completion. Due to the volatile nature of gold prices, the rate at the time of enquiry may differ from the rate at the time of actual sale.

MSR Jewellery reserves the right to update displayed rates at any time to reflect current market conditions. We make every effort to ensure that rates shown on our website are accurate and up-to-date, but we do not guarantee the accuracy of rates displayed at any given moment.

MSR Jewellery guarantees to pay Rs.15,000 (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) to any customer who finds a better rate at any other registered gold buyer in Chennai, subject to the following conditions:

• The competing offer must be from a registered and licensed gold buying establishment operating within the Chennai Metropolitan Area.
• The claim must be made within 24 hours of completing the transaction at MSR Jewellery.
• The comparison must be for the same purity (karatage) and weight of gold as tested at MSR Jewellery.
• The competing buyer must use XRF or equivalent certified testing equipment for purity determination.
• The customer must provide written proof of the competing offer, including the competitor's name, address, rate offered, and the date and time of the offer.
• This guarantee does not apply to online-only gold buyers, unregistered dealers, or offers that are not verifiable.
• MSR Jewellery reserves the right to verify the competing offer before honouring the guarantee.

MSR Jewellery ensures prompt and transparent payment for all gold buying transactions. The mode of payment is determined by the transaction value:

• Transactions up to Rs.2,00,000 (Two Lakhs): Instant cash payment at the time of transaction. Cash is counted and handed over in the presence of the customer.
• Transactions above Rs.2,00,000 (Two Lakhs): Payment via NEFT (National Electronic Funds Transfer) or RTGS (Real Time Gross Settlement) to the customer's bank account. This is in compliance with the Income Tax Act provisions regarding cash transactions.
• Same-Day Settlement: All payments, whether cash or bank transfer, are processed and completed on the same day as the transaction. No post-dated payments or deferred settlements.

A computer-generated receipt is issued for every transaction, detailing the weight, purity, rate applied, deductions (if any), and the total amount paid.

MSR Jewellery accepts the following gold items for purchase:

• Gold Jewellery: All types of gold jewellery including new, old, used, damaged, or broken ornaments of any karatage (24K, 22K, 18K, 14K, and below).
• Gold Coins: Gold coins of all denominations and brands, including those issued by banks, jewellers, or government mints.
• Gold Bars and Biscuits: Gold bars and biscuits of any weight and purity.
• Gold with Stones: Jewellery set with precious or semi-precious stones is accepted. The weight of stones and non-gold components will be deducted from the gross weight before valuation.
• Dental Gold: Gold used in dental work (crowns, bridges, fillings) is accepted and valued based on its tested purity.

Items that are not accepted: gold-plated items, gold-filled items, and items where gold content cannot be reliably determined through XRF testing.

In compliance with applicable laws and regulations, the following documentation is required for all gold selling transactions:

• Government-Issued Photo ID (mandatory): Any one of the following -- Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID Card, or Driving Licence.
• A photocopy of the ID will be retained for our records as part of regulatory compliance.
• For transactions above Rs.2,00,000, PAN Card details are mandatory as per Income Tax Act requirements.
• Original purchase invoice or receipt is not mandatory but may help in faster processing and verification.

MSR Jewellery maintains the confidentiality of all customer documents and personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

All gold buying transactions conducted by MSR Jewellery are final and irrevocable once the following conditions are met:

• Payment (cash or bank transfer) has been disbursed to the customer.
• The transaction receipt has been signed by the customer acknowledging receipt of payment.

Once both conditions are fulfilled, the gold items become the property of MSR Jewellery, and no request for return of gold or reversal of payment shall be entertained. Customers are advised to carefully review the transaction details, including weight, purity, rate, and total amount, before signing the receipt.

MSR Jewellery provides gold buying services across Chennai and its surrounding areas, including but not limited to:

• Walk-in Service: Customers may visit any of our branches for in-store gold selling. No prior appointment is required.
• Free Doorstep Service: We offer complimentary home or office pickup service across all areas of Chennai and nearby districts. Our trained executives carry portable XRF machines and make on-the-spot payment.
• Service coverage extends to the entire Chennai Metropolitan Area and surrounding regions including Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur, and Chengalpattu districts.
